**** Please note: Unlike every other Scuba Store we know of, We ask that     
        you DO NOT, repeat DO NOT purchase your Total Snorkeling
        System until you have tried various options in the water during class. 
        How could you(or we) possibly know what will work for you, until
        you have actually tried them in the water?        

Facilities

 FAMILY SCUBA CENTER, INC. has a full service Scuba Shop with a classroom and access to FIVE (5) HEATED INDOOR SWIMMING POOLS (4-17' deep) for our pool sessions.  We have AIR COMPRESSORS for safe tank fills. We have a lot of fun diving time and more skills practice without marathon pool sessions. For your comfort, you are provided full wetsuits for your pool sessions, even though our pools are heated and indoors!

Class Size

Within reason, the smaller the size the better. It's a lot of fun to learn with a few others who share your interest in diving. Small class sizes ensure plenty of instructor attention, and lively class discussions about diving. Small water class size gives you more time to experience the underwater environment and plenty of time to practice your new diving skills.

Programs

Family Scuba Center, Inc. programs are sanctioned through SSI (Scuba Schools International). SSI is among the largest, oldest and most respected scuba-training agencies in the world. Our instructors and educators are encouraged to make each class the finest one ever taught, and to make the next one even better. Our main objective is to make the graduating student safe, comfortable and competent in all phases of underwater activities relating to their level of training.

Equipment

Family Scuba Center, Inc. uses SCUBAPRO diving equipment and HENDERSON and BARE wetsuits for its underwater programs.

These brands are rightfully regarded as the finest equipment available. We firmly believe that you will learn more readily and comfortably when using quality, up-to-date, properly-fitted diving gear.

Open Water Dives
(or your Certi-Vacation Weekend)

Family Scuba Center, Inc. conducts most openwater training in real Texas lakes and Springs, as well as Caribbean and Pacific locations throughout the year.

Your scuba training should allow you to be comfortable in all environments, and we believe diving is primo FUN!

Family Scuba Center, Inc. provides for bonus dives during your openwater weekend in which to immediately start enjoying the adventure of diving.
