Divers don’t have to lug gear every day from their rooms. Upon checking in at the dive shop, divers

receive a locker assignment and lock so that gear is available throughout the day or night for additional dives. Divers take their gear to the storage area to dry and their photo/video gear to their rooms.

Divers are encouraged to use computers to maximize bottom time. (Computers are complementary if you don't have yours)
Dive boats are limited to a maximum of 20 divers.

Divers are provided an orientation at the dive shop, a briefing, dockside, on the dive boat before departure and a briefing at the dive site.
Diving packages do not include diving on day of departure for safety reasons.

Breakfast is included, and Family Scuba Center recommend the optional Lunch and Dinner meal plan for your convienience and to make more time for additional activities you may choose. Cobalt Coast Resort is well away from the hustle and bustle of 7 mile beach and all of the cruise ships that anchor each day on the south side of Grand Cayman, and therefore also away from many of the eating establishments. Look on the Cobalt Coast website for their sample menus.

Cobalt Coast has partnered with Cayman Turtle Farm for an 'Adopt a Green Sea Turtle' program to raise, and at the right time, release Green Sea Turtles to the ocean when they are big enough to survive. We will discuss this program at the Pre-Trip party for anyone who is interested in helping keep these magnificent animals around for us to dive with in the future.

We are providing R/T Airfare from Midland or Houston, 8 days, 7 nights at Cobalt Coast Resort with 6 days of 2-tank and 1 day of 1-tank(Stingray City) boat dives(13 total boat dives) provided through DiveTech, along with truly unlimited shore diving at several places you would actually want to go shore diving.

Breakfast is included and your 10% Occupancy Tax, 10% Service Charge and 15% Restraunt Gratuity is already paid, as well as Airport Transfers. Family Scuba Center will be renting a small bus for some off-property excursions as scheduling permits.
